Jonah

Morning Sermons from June 2023
The story of “Jonah and the big fish” is a wonderful narrative, and its characters are among the most well-known in the whole Bible. Whilst Jonah and his fishy friend are important characters in the story, though, Jonah is really a story about God himself. In this small but wonderful book, we meet the sovereign God who shows extraordinary grace towards people who are far away from him, and patience with people who appear to be quite close to him.

One of the key questions Jonah will therefore prompt us to reflect on is whether we share God's heart for the world. Please be praying that as we study the book together, we would each grow to do so more and more.
