Church Services - COVID19

*Seats are arranged in blocks of 2, 4 or 6. Please book for the smallest available seat-block your household group requires.

Spaces can fill up quickly towards the end of the week! We can add you to the waiting list in case there is a late cancellation, or we can offer you an early booking option for next Sunday if you don't get in this week.  The overflow room is also available where the livestream from the service will be shown on the screen.
Remember to sign children up separately if they are going to Sunday School!

During the current pandemic our services are available to those who are pre-booked online. You can click on the booking button below to pre-book. To help those who are not able to book online, you can simply get in touch with the church office and we will book you in. Please also note that we are holding places available for those with special circumstances to make church inclusive for as many people as possible.

Service Online
We are livestreaming the 11am services on the website so you can enjoy them at home when you are not able to come to the live service.

The church meets every Sunday at 11am for our Sunday Service.
There will be seats upstairs in the Sanctuary for the in-person service and the Side Hall will be used as an overflow room where the service will be livestreamed from upstairs.
Hearing aid users should note there is no loop system in the Side Hall.
Children's activities will run at 11am - children should go straight there on arrival.
It helps to get there 15 minutes early to get a parking spot and seat in time for the service to start.
Those attending the upstairs room should be aware that the service will be live-streamed on our website. Should you have any concerns about being identifiable on the screen please email in advance or speak to a steward as there are areas off-camera where you could be seated.

We meet at our church building in the city centre. The address is:
Hebron Evangelical Church
Summer Street
Aberdeen
AB10 1RR
(See map)

You can expect a warm, socially distanced welcome, an impacting preach and a friendly bunch of people gathering to learn more about God.

Due to the government's current guidelines and restrictions there will be a check-in system operating at the door on arrival, to allow us to record contact details for attendees, in line with the *NHS Test and Protect Scheme. There will also be no sung congregational worship and we will have social distancing measures in place in the seating areas and one-way systems in the corridors. Please note we will be encouraging people not to linger on the church property when the service is finished, and that access to the toilets will be restricted to dire need only - the services will be shorter at the moment so hopefully this will not be a problem! Families with young children under 3 years old should be aware that for now, children must remain with their parents at all times and there will be no access to toys stored in the church.

Note that face coverings will be required inside the building.

Anyone who is
  • vulnerable or at-risk due to health conditions or age
  • displaying symptoms of Covid-19
  • self-isolating due to living with someone who is displaying symptoms

*Contact Tracing. From www.gov.scot May 2020:

"9. For the purposes of contact tracing, a close contact is someone who has been physically close enough to the confirmed case for a long enough period of time, that they may have had the infection transmitted to them. For COVID-19, this includes everyone who has been less than 2 metres away from a confirmed case for 15 minutes or more. The risk of the disease being transmitted is higher the closer the contact, the greater the exposure to respiratory droplets (for example from coughing), or the longer the duration of the contact."
